MAP: Find July 4th Fireworks Around Maryland

If you—like many Americans—are hoping to celebrate the Fourth of July this year with a rousing fireworks show, you're in luck: the Baltimore-Washington region is full of them.

In the map above and the list below, you'll find dozens of local fireworks displays, concerts, parades, and other patriotic events taking place before, on, and after the nation's 237th birthday. (Note: you may have to zoom out on the map above to view the full range of options.)

Event/Host: Annapolis Fourth of July Parade

Details: Annapolis Mayor Joshua J. Cohen invites all residents to the Annapolis 4th of July Parade on Thursday, July 4. The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Amos Garrett Blvd. and proceed down West Street, around Church Circle, and down Main Street. The fireworks show will begin at approximately 9:15 p.m. The fireworks display will be launched from a barge in the Annapolis Harbor and can be viewed from many water locations. Location: Annapolis City Dock, Annapolis, Maryland

Details: At approximately 9:15 p.m., the fireworks will be launched from a barge in Annapolis Harbor. The best viewing areas include public spaces Northeast of the Severn River, along the Naval Academy Bridge (limited parking area), any of the street-end parks facing Spa Creek, and aboard a boat in the Annapolis harbor. The Spa Creek Bridge will be closed to traffic beginning at 9 p.m. to create a spectator pier with an unobstructed view of the fireworks.
