Motorcyclist Dies, 2 Hospitalized In South County Crash: Police
A motorcyclist died Thursday in a South County crash, police said. Two other people were hospitalized in the wreck.

LOTHIAN, MD — A motorcyclist died and two other people were hospitalized Thursday in a Lothian crash, police said.
Officers identified the deceased as Noah Allen Lee, a 23-year-old Dunkirk man.
Authorities said the wreck happened around 9:11 p.m. on Maryland Route 4, also known as Southern Maryland Boulevard, near Talbot Road.

A 2015 Dodge Charger sedan was heading north on Route 4 "when the driver pulled off and proceeded to make a left-handed U-turn to southbound Route 4," police said.
Officers said Lee was driving a 2015 Yamaha motorcycle north on Route 4 at the same time.

"As the Dodge Charger made its U-turn, it pulled into the path of the Yamaha motorcycle which was unable to avoid striking the Dodge," authorities said.
Police said medics pronounced the motorcyclist dead on the scene.
The Dodge driver and passenger were taken to a Calvert County hospital with minor injuries, officers said.
Authorities are still investigating.
