Motorcyclist Killed After Bike Crash, Fire In Annapolis: Police

A motorcyclist died after a bike crash and a fire in Annapolis, police said. Officers have not yet identified the victim.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A motorcyclist died after a Tuesday crash in Annapolis, city police announced.

Officers have not yet released the victim's name. A police spokesperson said they still need to notify the victim's family.

The wreck happened around 2:42 a.m. near Forest Drive and Chinquapin Round Road, authorities said.

Police said they found a Kawasaki motorcycle in the intersection engulfed in flames.

First responders said they found the motorcycle driver in the median and pronounced them dead at the scene.

The Annapolis Police Department is still investigating the crash.
