Police Arrest Man After Threatening Taxi Driver with Gun
A taxi driver was threatened with a gun, and the suspect fled on foot

A first-degree assault was reported in the 500 block of South Cherry Grove Avenue on Sunday morning.
A taxi driver was threatened by Walter Queen, 25, of Annapolis, who police said threatened to shoot the driver, and showed him a handgun. When the driver called police, Queen fled on foot.
Officers were able to locate Queen, but not the gun he showed the driver. Queen was charged with first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment theft, several drug charges, carrying a handgun in a vehicle, use of a handgun in a violent crime, and controlled drug distribution with a firearm.

Queen is being held without bond in the Jennifer Road Detention Center.
