Police Find Stolen Credit Card During Drug Arrest

Walter Livramento of Annapolis faces charges of drug possession and theft.

Annapolis police said they charged a man with drug possession, but also arrested him on a theft charge after finding him with a stolen credit card.

Police said they executed a warrant on Monday for Walter Livramento, 49, of Annapolis, on charges of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. When officers arrested him, they found a credit card that did not belong to him. Police investigated, and learned that it had been taken from a car during an unreported theft on the unit block of Munroe Court.

In addition to the drug charges, Livramento was charged with theft of less than $100. He is being held on $90,000 bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.
