Police: Resident Reports Stolen Generator

Annapolis police said a resident reported the theft of a gas generator from his van.

Police said the man reported the theft Monday, though he reported that it may have happened on either March 4 or 5 near his home on Heritage Court. 

The victim in the case came to the Annapolis Police station Monday afternoon claiming that the Yamaha 8050 generator had been taken from the cab of his Ford Econoline van. The victim said he believed the key lock had been tampered with. 

Because the incident reportedly took place more than a month ago, police were unable to process the van for clues and did not see any damage to the van. 

There are no suspects in the case, police said.
