Speak Out on New City Dock Plan at Upcoming Hearing

Have something to say regarding the proposed changes to City Dock?

The Annapolis City Council is scheduled to host a public hearing on the City Dock Master Plan at 7 p.m. on July 8 at City Hall.

The first phase of the plan establishes a new zoning district, called the Waterfront City Dock Zone. It is the first step in city officials' plans to expedite the renovation of the City Dock area and make way for a proposed retail development at the former Fawcett's Boating Supply, location at 110 Compromise Street.

Preliminary plans for that development were first disclosed June 26, a day after a coalition of residents formed to oppose the current plans for City Dock's renovation.

The full documentation for Phase 1 of the plan can be viewed in ordinance O-7-13 hosted on the city's website.
