Student Brings Gun To Annapolis Area High School: Police

A student from Annapolis was arrested for bringing a gun to Broadneck High School Friday, police said.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A 15-year-old male from Annapolis was arrested for bringing a gun to Broadneck High School Friday, police said.

The student, whose identity will not be released because he is a minor, brought a loaded .40 caliber glock handgun in his book bag, police said.

At about 12:45 p.m., a school administrator called police and said while they were speaking with the student, they discovered the gun in his bag.

The student was arrested and transported to Eastern District, where he was charged on a juvenile citation and released to family, police said.
