The crew was rescued by the coast guard after being stranded in a deadly storm in March in their power sailboat Andante II along the shore of Cape Lookout, NC. The Andante has not been found since that fateful night on March 6.
Captain Pat Schoenberger and first mate Jim Southward started their journey with a meeting at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis, where they were both hired for a job—to ferry a sailboat from Severn, VA to Pensacola, FL.
