Wreck Kills Passenger on Back of Motorcycle: Police
Motorcycle struck the side of a car in Crownsville crash, according to first responders.

CROWNSVILLE, MD — The passenger on the back of a motorcycle died in a Sunday night wreck, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
The woman, Kelly Josephine Navin, 29, of Owings Mills, was pronounced dead at the scene.
First responders arrived at 8:25 p.m. to the area of St. Stephens Church Road and Creek Farms Lane regarding an auto accident.

According to police, the driver of the motorcycle was heading north on St. Stephens Church Road when he attempted to pass a Chevy Cruze. The motorcycle crossed double yellow lines as the Chevy was turning left onto Creeks Farm Lane.
The motorcycle ricocheted off the drivers side of the Chevy and left the roadway, ejecting both the driver and the passenger.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending a review by the State Attorney's Office.
The motorcycle driver, 36, of Severn suffered critical injuries and was flown from Crofton Middle School to a Shock Trauma center.
The driver of the Chevy, 24, of Pasadena, was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.
