2 Bethesda Restaurants Up For State Awards
Bethesda eateries have been nominated for state recognition in the Stars of the Industry Awards.
BETHESDA, MD – Two Bethesda establishments are up for awards from a restaurant trade association that recognizes the best of the industry across the state. The Restaurant Association of Maryland's Stars of the Industry Awards is an annual program in which the public is invited to vote online. Vote at the bottom of the article.
The winners will be recognized at the Restaurant Association of Maryland’s Stars of the Industry Awards Gala – A Shore Thing in Ocean City on Sunday, May 6.
Without further ado, here are the nominees from Bethesda.

Woodmont Grill at 7715 Woodmont Ave. is up for "Favorite Restaurant." Other nominees include: Lewnes' Steak House in Annapolis; The Prime Rib in Baltimore; Stanford Grill in Columbia and Sunset Grille in Ocean City.
Medium Rare at 4904 Fairmont Ave. is nominated for "Favorite New Restaurant," along with: Ekiben in Baltimore; The Elephant in Baltimore; Heritage 485 in Prince Frederick and The Turn House in Columbia.

Bob Giaimo, co-founder of Silver Diner, is up for "Restaurateur of the Year."
Other categories include Chef of the Year, Craft Brew Program of the Year, Favorite Bar or Tavern, Favorite Ocean City Boardwalk Treat, Favorite Ocean City Crab House and more.
Vote online until 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28.
