Passengers Assault, Pepper Spray Ride On Bus Driver: Police
Police are searching for three suspects who allegedly assaulted and pepper sprayed a Ride On bus driver in North Bethesda.

NORTH BETHESDA, MD — Police are searching for three suspects who allegedly assaulted and pepper sprayed a Ride On bus driver in North Bethesda.
Montgomery County Police said the three suspects boarded the bus in the area of Nicholson Lane and Nicholson Court on March 7.
The driver said the suspects were "disorderly and disturbing the other passengers" and asked them to stop, police said. The suspects ignored the driver and continued to be disruptive.

The driver stopped the bus on Westlake Drive near Arizona Circle and told the suspects to exit the bus. As they exited, one suspect spit on the driver. The driver exited the bus and was immediately assaulted and pepper sprayed by one of the suspects, police said.
Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the bus’ location and transported the driver to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
