Police Seek Missing Bethesda Woman

Police and family are concerned for 21-year-old Andrea Jafari's physical and emotional welfare.

BETHESDA, MD — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Bethesda woman who was last seen Sunday afternoon.

Andrea Jafari, 21, of Ashburton Lane, was last seen leaving her home in her car at about 3 p.m. Sunday. Family members have been unable to contact Jafari since that time, police said.

Police and family are concerned for Jafari’s physical and emotional welfare.

Police describe Jafari as a white female, 5’05” and weighs about 135 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She drives a gray, 2015 Mercedes-Benz mid-size SUV with Maryland tags: 3CJ9760.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Andrea Jafari and/or her vehicle is asked to call police at 301-279-8000 (available 24 hours).
