"The Cancer Diaries" App Created by Bowie Woman

People share their stories involving cancer and multiple sclerosis as a guide for others.

A new app is serving as a guide for people fighting terminal illnesses.

After Bowie resident Bernice Samuels lost her fiance, James Watts, to Hodgekin’s Lymphoma in March 2013, she wanted to bring hope to others in similar situations, ABC7 News reports.

“I needed answers and the books I read were more like tutorials rather than guides,” Samuels told ABC7 News.
