1 Dead In Shooting At MGM National Harbor
Prince George's County police said the man was shot while ordering food. A suspect is still on the loose.

OXON HILL, MD — A man is dead following a shooting on Wednesday at MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill.
According to Prince George's County police, the shooting happened around 11:55 a.m. at the food court inside the hotel and casino located at 101 MGM National Ave.
When police arrived, they found a man with fatal injuries. According to Prince George’s County Police Chief George Nader, the victim was ordering food when the suspect appeared and immediately began shooting at him.

Police previously stated another man suffered an apparent graze wound, but later said there were no other injuries.
The suspect fled the scene after the shooting, police said. A description of the suspect has not been released.

Police said the victim appeared to be in his 20s.
“It appeared that they were looking for this person, chased them down and this shooting occurred right there in the food court,” Nader said.
Police described the shooting as targeted, and authorities are working to determine a motive.
MGM National Harbor remained open following the shooting. According to police, the food court will be closed while authorities continue their investigation.
