2 Men Fatally Shoot Each Other In Prince George's Parking Lot

Two men were found fatally shot in a District Heights parking lot Friday night. Police believe they knew each other prior to the shooting.

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, MD — Detectives are investigating a double fatal shooting that happened Friday night.

On Dec. 6 around 9:25 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 6200 block of Surrey Square Lane for a report of a shooting. They found 24-year-old Vernon Bond III of Washington, D.C., and 28-year-old Jonathan Jamal Williams of Washington, D.C., in a parking lot with gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead a short time later, according to the Prince George's Police Department.

The preliminary investigation indicates the two men knew each other and shot each other during an altercation. Anyone with additional information about this incident should call detectives at 301-516-2512.
