PGPD Offering $25K Reward For Information About Fatal Shooting
A $25K reward has been offered for information about a fatal shooting that happened Monday night in Lanham.
LANHAM, MD — A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information about a fatal shooting that happened Monday night in Lanham.
According to Prince George's Police, on May 19 around 8:20 p.m., officers were called to the 9300 block of Lanham Severn Road for a report of a shooting. They found 33-year-old Cameron Smith of Lanham with multiple gunshot wounds. Smith was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later. A second victim also was shot. He remains in critical but stable condition, police said.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s). Detectives do not believe this was a random crime.

A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
