$25K Reward Offered For Information In Fatal Shooting Sunday Night In Lanham

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Sunday night in Lanham. A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.

On Aug. 18 at approximately 10:10 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 7700 block of Finns Lane for a welfare check. They found 38-year-old Kamil Ahmed of New Carrollton in a parking lot with trauma. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
