$25K Reward Offered For Information In Teen's Fatal Shooting In Laurel

A $25K reward has been offered for information in the case of a teen's fatal shooting in Laurel, according to Prince George's Police.

LAUREL, MD — A 17-year-old College Park boy has been fatally shot and a reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.

On Feb. 18 around 9:15 p.m., Prince George's Police were called to the 11600 block of South Laurel Drive for a report of a shooting. Officers found Jeferson Giron Cabrera outside with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene, police reported.

Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect. They do not believe it was a random incident either, the police said. Anyone with information about the case who would like to speak to a detective can call 301-516-2512.
