Prince George's Police Offering $25K Reward For Info In Fatal Shooting

A reward of up to $25K has been offered for information in a fatal shooting that happened late Thursday night in Landover.

LANDOVER, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that happened in Landover late Thursday night. A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.

On May 1 around 11:10 p.m., Prince George's police officers heard gunshots and started to search for a crime scene. They found 30-year-old James Kibler of Landover located in the 8100 block of Allendale Drive with multiple gunshot wounds. Kibler was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later, the police department stated.

Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s). Detectives do not believe this was a random crime.
