Annual Fall Plant Sale

Women's Engagement and EmpowHERment Conference
When: 
Saturday, 8 a.m.
Where: Bowie State University, 14000 Jericho Park Rd.
Details: Sheila Stewart, Director of News and Community & Media Affairs Programming for Radio One DC will provide keynote remarks, along with several other speakers. A portion of conference proceeds will be donated to Bowie State’s Department of History and Government to support campus programs geared towards women interested in politics, government, law, and public policy to cultivate the next generation of female leaders.

PGCCares Help the Homeless Walk
When: 
Saturday, 9:30 a.m.
Where: Allen Pond Park
Details: Walk to raise awareness and raise funds to support and enhance our homeless services programs benefiting our communities.

Old Town Bowie Fall Festival
When: Saturday, 10 a.m.
Where: Old Town Bowie
Details: Enjoy great food, see the offerings of many different types of vendors, and dance along to great entertainment highlighted by the local band Bodkin Creek. Kids will enjoy pony rides, a petting zoo, moon bounces, face painting, and more. Admission is free.

Little Shop of Horrors

14th Annual Fidos For Freedom Stroll ‘n’ Roll

Sunday, 10 a.m.
Where: Allen Pond Park
Details: The Stroll ‘N Roll to increase the quality of life and provide companionship to the residents of our local community through specially trained service dogs, hearing dogs and therapy dogs.

Ovarian Cancer memoir - book signing
