77-Year-Old Woman Killed In Fort Washington Car Crash: Prince George's Police
A 77-year-old White Plains woman was killed in a Fort Washington car crash and two others serious injured, police say.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 77-year-old White Plains woman died in a car crash Friday in Fort Washington.
Prince George's police officers were called to Indian Head Highway and Fort Washington Road July 26 around 6:15 p.m. for a report of a collision involving four vehicles. Louise Wilder was pronounced dead on the scene. The drivers of two other vehicles were hospitalized with serious injuries, police said. The driver of the fourth vehicle was uninjured.
The preliminary investigation indicates Wilder and the driver of a second vehicle collided in the intersection of Indian Head Highway and Fort Washington Road in the northbound lanes. Two other vehicles in the southbound lanes were subsequently struck. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call detectives at 301-731-4422.
