LANHAM, MD -- Not long after a Prince George's County woman struck it big with the Maryland Lottery's Deluxe Crossword game, another local woman has struck it big with a $50,000 top prize in a recent drawing.

A Lanham resident who plays a lot of Bonus Match 5 landed the biggest prize in the game at the April 12 drawing, according to a statement from the Maryland Lottery.

She had stopped by the Seabrook BP station on her way home that afternoon to pick up a Bonus Match 5 drawing.

"After the drawing, she checked the winning numbers at mdlottery.com and was shocked to see that she had won," the statement reads. "With a rush of excitement, she asked her significant other to take a look at the ticket and confirm what she was seeing. Indeed, the second line of numbers on her lucky ticket matched all five of the winning numbers in the April 12 drawing – 17, 28, 29, 33 and 37."

She took off Monday and went with her significant other to the Lottery's Winner's Circle room to claim the prize.
