3 Men Attempted To Rob Victim In Bowie Chipotle Parking Lot, Gun Fires During Tussle

BOWIE, MD — Three men in their early 20s attempted to rob a man in the parking lot of the Chipotle Mexican Grill in Bowie Monday, police said.

The incident happened around 5:21 p.m. at the eatery located at 15500 Excelsior Drive. When the men attempted to rob the victim, he ran into the restaurant but one suspect followed him. The two fought and the suspect's gun fired off a shot. No injuries were reported, Bowie Police disclosed.

The suspects left the scene in a stolen black Chevrolet Camaro with D.C. plates (JK9546), which since has been recovered and was found in Temple Hills.
