Mark Your Calendars for Back to School Nights in Bowie
Back to school nights in Bowie began last week and will continue through September.
School for Prince George's County Public Schools began on August 19, and this week local parents get their chance to head back to the classroom.
Over the next few weeks PGCPS will be hosting back to school night to give parents and care givers the chance to tour facilities and meet teachers.
Here's a rundown of when Bowie parents are invited back to school:
- Benjamin Tasker Middle School: 6th grade—Aug. 27; 7th grade—Aug. 28; 8th grade—Aug. 29. All open houses run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Bowie High School: Main building, all grades—Sept. 3; annex building, all grades—Sept. 10. Both open houses will run from 6:30 p.m to 8:30 p.m.
- C. Elizabeth Reig Regional School: All grades—6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 19.
- Kenilworth Elementary: Grades K-2—Aug. 29; Grades 3-5—Sept. 9. Both open houses will run from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Pointer Ridge Elementary: All grades—6 p.m. and 7 p.m., Aug. 29.
- Rockledge Elementary: All grades—6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 29.
- Samuel Ogle Middle: 6th grade—Sept. 10; 7th and 8th grade—Sept. 12. Both open houses will run 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Tulip Grove Elementary: All grades—6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 3.
- Woodmore Elementary: Grades K-2—6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 27.
- Yorktown Elementary: All grades—6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 27.
