Bank Robber Busted Within 5 Minutes By PGPD: Police
A man was arrested by PG County police less than five minutes after robbing a bank, police say.
OXON HILL, MD — A suspect was in custody within five minutes of a bank robbery in Oxon Hill on Monday, police say.
Police were called to a report of a bank robbery on Audrey Lane at around 12:20 p.m. on July 15, and responding officers were able to locate and arrest the suspect minutes later at a fast food restaurant near the bank, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.
Police charged 54-year-old Saleem Muhammad of Southwest D.C. with robbery, theft, and related charges. He is being held without bond.
