Bowie Resident Raped Two Students In Late '60s: Police (ICYMI)
Maryland State Police arrested the Bowie resident on multiple sex charges last week.

BOWIE, MD -- A 90-year-old Bowie resident has been arrested on charges that he raped two students while he was principal at a private school on the Eastern Shore in the late 1960s, police say.
Maryland State Police arrested Russell Isaac at his home on multiple counts of rape and associated sex offenses, and he is now behind bars awaiting trial, according to an MSP report.

"The investigation by the Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division, Upper Shore Region began in May 2016 when a female victim came forward and disclosed that in the late 1960’s she was a 14-year-old student at the W.C. Moffett School, which was located in the town of Barclay, Maryland in Queen Anne’s County and where Isaac was the principal," the report states. "Through the investigation, a second victim was identified and reported to have also been sexually assaulted by Isaac when she was 15 years old. According to the victims, the sexual assaults occurred at the school between 1966 and 1968."
Police believe there are additional victims, and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
