Bowie Senior Center Reopens on Monday August 15

The Senior Center has been closed for emergency air conditioning system repairs.

From the City of Bowie:

BOWIE, MD - The Bowie Senior Center will reopen for patrons at its Health Center Drive location on Monday, August 15 at 8:30 a.m. As of that date, all programs that were temporarily housed at the Kenhill Center due to a lack of air conditioning at the Senior Center facility will be moved back to the permanent location on Health Center Drive.

The City Council and the Senior Center staff would like to thank all Senior Center patrons for their understanding and patience over the last several weeks as emergency work on the air conditioning system was performed.

Senior Services at the Kenhill Center will cease on Friday, August 12 at noon to allow staff to move back to the Senior Center and be ready to welcome patrons on Monday morning.
