A Bowie woman won two big Racetrax prizes in one week.

BOWIE, MD -- An avid player of Racetrax, a game from the Maryland lottery, scored two big prizes netting $38,180 over the course of a week.
The 53-year-old woman from Bowie, who chose to be anonymous, first won a Superfecta bet with the Bonus multiplier to get a $10,000 prize, and then days later won $28,180 with a Trifecta Wheel bet with a 4X bonus.
"The lucky lady visited a Lottery retailer before work on May 3 to play a few games but didn’t leave with a significant win," reads a Maryland Lottery statement. "However, something told her to try again. After leaving work that evening, she went to Express Mart located at 15709 Hall Road in Bowie to play a few more games."

She looked at her ticket in disbelief, and then headed home.
“I took a picture of the ticket to show my best friend and decided to tell my husband and son later,” said the information technology specialist.
She will spend her prizes on a new car and home repairs, and also help friends financially and put the remainder in her bank account.
"Express Mart in Prince George’s County earns a bonus of $281.80 from the Lottery for selling a winning Racetrax ticket over $10,000. The bonus is equal to 1 percent of the prize," the statement adds.
