Capitol Heights Man Fatally Shoots Acquaintance During Argument: PGPD
A District Heights man was fatally shot by an acquaintance during an argument, according to Prince George's Police.
CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD — A Prince George's man has been charged in connection to a fatal shooting that happened in late September.
On Sept. 21 at approximately 1:05 a.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 400 block of Xenia Avenue in the unincorporated section of Capitol Heights for a report of a shooting. Once on scene, they found 31-year-old Duane Glenn of District Heights outside with gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later, the police department said.
The preliminary investigation indicated that 43-year-old Ricky Minor Jr. of Capitol Heights shot Glenn during an argument. The men knew each other, the police department.

Minor Jr. has been charged with first- and second-degree murder and related charges.
