Dec. 15 Deadline To Apply For Prince George's County Emergency Rental Assistance Program

New applications for Prince George's County Emergency Rental Assistance Program will not be accepted after 3 p.m. Dec. 15.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Residents have until Dec. 15 to submit an application for the county's emergency rental assistance program, which since March 2021 has helped more than 5,200 households and paid more than $42 million in rent and utilities to landlords on behalf of tenants. New applications will not be accepted after 3 p.m. Dec. 15.

To date, Prince George’s County leads the state in the deployment of rental assistance funds. Low-income households facing eviction and residents with addresses in a census tract of greatest vulnerability will continue to be prioritized, officials noted. Applicants will be contacted by their assigned reviewers to finalize all necessary information. Residents with pending eviction cases should call the ERAP Hotline at 301-883-6504 and press 9.
