Famous Clydesdales To Canter Down Waterfront Street For Folds Of Honor Event

The famous Budweiser Clydesdales will make an appearance for a Folds of Honor special event this month at National Harbor.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The Budweiser Clydesdales will be trotting into National Harbor to participate in an Aug. 21 Folds of Honor event there, which symbolizes the 14-year partnership between the two.

Since 2007, Folds of Honor has provided approximately 52,000 scholarships to families of fallen or disabled U.S. service members and families of first responders. Anheuser-Busch, its brands and wholesaler partners have donated $28 million, which has funded more than 5,000 scholarships for Folds of Honor recipients.

The Clydesdales will make an appearance for a Folds of Honor scholarship presentation Aug. 22 at 4 p.m. in a National Harbor parade, which will start at 29 Waterfront St. and travel along that road. The majestic horse's national tour this year includes stops at military events, air shows, fleet weeks and other special events.
