Fatal Shooting Suspect Turns Himself In To Police

A Landover man who Prince George's Police say shot his friend inside an SUV has turned himself in to the police department.

LANDOVER, MD — An 18-year-old has been charged in connection to a fatal shooting that happened Sunday night.

On Feb. 16 around 6:50 p.m., Prince George's police officers are called to the 2000 block of East Marlboro Avenue for a report of a shooting. Officers found 26-year-old Vincent Fisher III of Landover inside an SUV with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police.

A preliminary investigation indicated that the victim, 18-year-old Raymond Terry III of Landover, and Fisher were together in the SUV when the shooting happened and they knew each other. The motive for the fatal shooting is under investigation. Terry turned himself into officers at the Landover Division III station a short time after the shooting, police stated.

Terry has been charged with first- and second-degree murder and related charges. He is in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status. Anyone with information about this case can call 301-516-2512.
