Giant Foods Recalls 2 Products Over Walnut Concerns

Giant foods issued a volunteer recall Tuesday for two products with walnuts that have a risk of listeria contamination. The Giant store recall is not part of the national frozen produce recall.

Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which could result in severe illness, or death, to people who consume this product, has been in the news in recent weeks following a nationwide recall of hundreds of brands of frozen vegetables and fruits. >>> Read more.

DNA Exonerates Man in Teen's Murder

A man convicted nearly 20 years ago in the fatal stabbing of a teen will be exonerated based on DNA evidence, Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby said Wednesday afternoon.

Malcolm Bryant, 41, has been incarcerated since December 1998, court records show. He was sentenced to life in prison in 1999 for the murder of 16-year-old Toni Bullock, who was walking with a friend on Nov. 20, 1998, when she was fatally stabbed in the abdomen. >>>Read more.
