Girl Fatally Shot By Juvenile Family Member: Police

Police believe the young girl who was killed​ in Aquasco was accidentally shot by a juvenile family member.

AQUASCO, MD — Police believe the young girl who was killed Friday in Aquasco was accidentally shot by a juvenile family member.

Prince George's County police said the 11-year-old girl was shot by a child in the 15500 block of Saint Phillips Rd. She died from a gunshot wound to the upper body just before 10 p.m.

Detectives will consult with the State's Attorney's Office regarding any potential criminal charges in this case, police said Tuesday.
