Join PGCPS for Stuff A Bus Event

From PGCPS: Join us for our next event – Stuff-A-Bus – at Wegmans in Lanham on Saturday, February 25. Help fill our school bus with nonperishable food items and school supplies for the Capital Area Food Bank and the PGCPS Homeless Education Office.

Board our bus anytime between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. with your donations of nonperishable food items and school supplies. Encourage your school community, friends, family and neighbors to join us in Giving Together!

Requested items include:

• Canned fruits, vegetables, tuna, salmon or chicken
• Whole grains, dried beans and hot or cold cereal
• Peanut butter
• Juice (100%), granola bars, raisins
• School supplies (composition books, three-ring binders, dividers, notebook paper, crayons, pens and pencils)

PGCPS students who make a donation will receive:

• 1 hour of student service learning hours for 5 items donated
• 2 hours of student service learning hours for 10 items donated
