Labor Day means one last hurrah for cookouts and other summer activities. It also means lots of closures.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Labor Day is right around the corner -- do you have any cookout plans for the unofficial last day of summer? Will you be doing cartwheels (or shedding tears) now that the kids are finally going back to school?

Whatever you're doing, keep in mind that a lot of facilities won't be open on Monday, Sept. 4. Here's a breakdown of what's open and what's closed in Prince George's County.

  • All schools and offices will be closed Monday
  • County landfills, convenience center, recycling, yard waste composting centers are all closed.
  • County trash collection is canceled. Yard trim collections will resume on Sept. 11.
  • All Bowie city offices will be closed, along with the Ice Arena, Museums and Senior Center.
