Student Arrested After Loaded Gun Found In Middle School Parking Lot
An eighth grader has been arrested after Prince George's Police say the student was in possession of a loaded gun at a middle school.
LANDOVER, MD — A 14-year-old has been arrested after police found a loaded gun at Kenmoor Middle School in Landover Thursday.
According to the Prince George's County Police Department, on April 24 around 1:40 p.m., the police department was contacted by Prince George's County Public Schools security personnel that a loaded weapon had been recovered in the school parking lot, which is located at 2501 Kenmoor Drive.
A preliminary investigation indicates that an eighth grade student was in possession of the gun and took off running from school security personnel. The police department stated that charges against the 14-year-old are pending.
