CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD — A man has been arrested and charged with fatally shooting two men in Capitol Heights back in April, police say.

Police were called to the 5100 block of Fable Street at around 12:15 a.m. on April 7 to a report of a shooting, and found 24-year-old Trevor Frazier and 26-year-old Raymond Giles -- both of Frederick -- suffering from gunshot wounds, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.

Giles, who was found lying in the roadway outside of a car, was taken to the hospital where he died shortly after. Frazier, who was also lying near the car, was pronounced dead at the scene, police say.

Police arrested 25-year-old Rendell Markeith Johnson -- also of Frederick -- on first and second degree murder and related charges, the report states. Police believe Johnson knew the two victims, and the fatal shooting stems from a dispute between him and Frazier.

Johnson is being held without bond in D.C. and is awaiting extradition to Prince George's County, the report states.
