Man Crashes Into Bus, Dies In Prince George's County: Police

Police are investigating a crash that left a man dead after he slammed into a bus in Capitol Heights.

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD — Police are investigating a crash that left a 44-year-old Crofton, Md. man dead after he slammed into a bus in Capitol Heights Friday.

The collision occurred the 400 block of Ritchie Rd. at about 8:10 p.m. Nov. 3, police said. The victim has been identified as Marcus Moore of Lake Grove in Crofton.

The preliminary investigation reveals Moore was heading northbound on Richie Road when his car crossed the center line and struck a bus that was traveling southbound.

Moore was pronounced dead on the scene, while a passenger in his car suffered what appear to be non-life threatening injuries, police said. The bus driver was also taken to the hospital with what appear to be non-life threatening injuries. There were no passengers on the bus.
