Man Robbed at Gunpoint on Debenham Way

A Bowie man was robbed at gunpoint in front of his home on Debenham Way in Bowie in broad daylight, according to a police report.

The 22-year-old victim was sitting in front of his house, located on the 14600 block of Debenham Way on June 16 at around 3 p.m. A man—described as having dreadlocks and wearing a dark colored hoodie—came up to the victim brandishing a handgun and demanded “all of his money,” according to the police report.

The victim told police that he gave the suspect his money, and the suspect fled on foot, running southbound.

Bowie police conducted a search of the area, and a K-9 unit was also on the scene tracking the suspect, but the suspect was not found.
