Men Arrested For Stealing 19 Airbags In 1 Day: PGPD Police

A Prince George's County man and an accomplice have been arrested for stealing 19 airbags from vehicles in one day, police say.

BOWIE, MD -- Police have arrested a man and an accomplice who they say stole 19 airbags from vehicles in Bowie and the surrounding area in one day with the help of an accomplice.

Police arrested 28-year-old Michael Roane of Suitland as the primary suspect, and issued an arrest warrant for 24-year-old Roy Guzman of Temple Hills, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.

Police say that between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. on May 22, Roane and Guzman broke into 19 Hondas and stole the airbags. At 8:30 that same night, police identified and arrested Roane, the report states.

Both men are charged in connection with the 19 thefts, and police also found a firearm while searching Guzman's home, according to the report.
