PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Starting July 1, the county's new Clear the Curb waste collection services starts for residents receiving county-contracted trash and recycling pickup, and residents receiving recycling only collection.
The new services increase the number of acceptable curbside bulky trash items from two to four and introduces a monthly curbside scrap metal and electronics recycling pickup. These enhanced services will continue modernizing and streamlining the county's current residential collection services, officials said.
Residents now can place up to four curbside bulky items or four tightly secured bags with small household items next to their trash cart for pickup.
