Nominations Being Accepted For Virtual Waste Diversion, Recycling Awards
Nominations are being accepted until Nov. 23 for for the 2021 Waste Diversion and Recycling Virtual Awards in Prince George's County.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Keep Prince George’s County Beautiful and the Prince George’s County Department of the Environment are accepting nominations for the 2021 Waste Diversion and Recycling Virtual Awards. The award ceremony will be held Dec. 9 and recognizes Prince George’s County commercial businesses, schools and other entities who have demonstrated exceptional achievements in recycling and waste diversion to advance the mission of KPGCB and the DoE.
“We are excited to host this virtual ceremony once again to honor the winners in recycling and waste diversion,” DoE Director Andrea L. Crooms said. “It is an amazing opportunity to recognize and showcase our community businesses and schools committed to finding innovated ways to educate, as well as promote and activate recycling and waste management programs in Prince George’s County.”
A 2021 nomination form must be submitted on behalf of the nominee, including all relevant and supporting documentation, by midnight Nov. 23. Send the completed nomination form and all supporting documentation via email to htregister@co.pg.md.us or by mail to:
