Prince George's County Detectives To Be Honored
Prince George's County Crime Solvers is hosting its annual awards luncheon on Tuesday.

CLINTON, MD -- Prince George's County Crime Solvers will host its annual "Detectives and Deputies of the Year Awards" Tuesday morning.
The event will honor more than three dozen detectives and deputies who "have demonstrated outstanding investigative skills that led to significant arrests and case closures," according to a statement from Prince George's County Police.
The event takes place at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Colony South Hotel in Clinton.

"Prince George’s County Crime Solvers is a non-profit organization run by an all-volunteer board of directors comprised of business owners and community members," the statement reads. "It relies on private donations and fundraising to complete its vital mission. Crime Solvers provides cash rewards to tipsters who anonymously provide critical information in crimes committed in our community."
