Prince George's County's First Nordstrom Rack Opens Thursday

Prince George's County's first Nordstrom Rack opened in Woodmore Towne Centre in Glenarden Thursday.

GLENARDEN, MD — Prince George's County's first Nordstrom Rack opened in Woodmore Towne Centre Thursday, according to a press release.

The new 30,000-square-foot store opened at 9 a.m. with music, coffee and breakfast treats for shoppers. In recent weeks, businesses like 1000 Degree Pizza, Kobe Japanese and Kicks USA have also opened in Woodmore Towne Centre.

“Woodmore Towne Centre —and the greater region— has been eagerly awaiting the opening of Nordstrom Rack,” said Terry Richardson, the president of Petrie Richardson Ventures, the owner-developer of Woodmore Towne Centre. “Nordstrom Rack offers a unique level of quality and variety to shoppers, as well as convenient access to a wide array of brands and products. Their presence at Woodmore Towne Centre will ensure that all of our visitors are provided a well-rounded and diverse shopping experience.”

Woodmore Towne Centre opened in 2010 and is anchored by Wegmans, Costco, JC Penney, Best Buy and Petco. It is located on McHugh Drive in Glenarden.
