BOWIE, MD -- ZIPS Dry Cleaners, a chain that offers same-day dry cleaning, has opened its first location in Bowie and 28th in Maryland, the company said in a statement. The new location is at 15752 Annapolis Road. In addition to the same-day service, ZIPS has a one-price business model, meaning all garments are $2.29 each. The company also says it uses biodegradable plaster bags and hangers made from recycled materials. ZIPS has more than 50 locations, and plans to expand to 250 over the next several years.
