Speed Cameras Will Be Moving Feb. 3 To New Locations Around Prince George's County
Drivers beware - the county is relocating its speed cameras to new spots starting Feb. 3 with a month's grace period.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Drivers have until March 3 to adjust to the new locations where speed cameras will be moved.
The speed cameras will rotate to their new locations Feb. 3. Cameras at Chestnut Avenue, Mitchellville Road, Dahlia Drive, Nashua Lane and Tulip Grove Drive cameras will be moved to Dolphin Way, Old Stage Road, Brunswick Lane, Alderwood Lane and Kembridge Drive.
The Safe Speed Program, an initiative designed to reduce speeding and vehicle accidents, uses speed cameras to change driving behavior, the city said.

The residential cameras' specific locations, as of Feb. 3, will be at:
- 16300 block eastbound Excalibur Road
- 16300 block westbound Excalibur Road
- 14700 block westbound Dolphin Way
- 14400 block westbound Old Stage Road
- 12700 block westbound Brunswick Lane
- 16000 block eastbound Alderwood Lane
- 12400 block eastbound Kembridge Drive
