Teens Charged After Choking, Robbing Classmate At School: Police
Two teens have been charged, one as an adult, after Bowie Police said they choked and robbed a classmate while in school.

BOWIE, MD — Two teens have been charged in connection to the robbery of a classmate at Bowie High School Monday morning, the Bowie Police Department said.
The school resource officer assigned to the building received a report of a strong-arm robbery that happened in the school. A student had been choked and robbed of his personal belongings, Bowie Police said.
Two teens, also students at Bowie High School, were taken into custody and have been charged with first- and second-degree assault and theft.

One suspect has been charged as an adult and was taken to the Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro, while the juvenile suspect was released under the supervision of the Department of Juvenile Services.
The investigation is ongoing, the Bowie Police Department stated.
