Suspect Arrested In April Fatal Shooting Of 19-Year-Old

The suspect wanted in connection to the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old in April has been arrested by Prince George's Police.

GLASSMANOR, MD — Police have arrested the suspect wanted in connection to a fatal shooting that happened in April.

On April 11 around 5:30 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the area of Neptune Avenue and Audrey Lane for a report of a shooting. police found 19-year-old Tyron Avent of Oxon Hill with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police.

The preliminary investigation indicated that 23-year-old Javon Moore of Washington, D.C., shot Avent before taking off. Both men knew each other. Moore has been charged with first- and second-degree murder and other charges.
